
Conners Earns PGA Tour Card

BEACHWOOD, Ohio – Kent State University alum Corey Conners has secured his PGA Tour card with a solid performance at the DAP Championship.
Conners finished 11th overall at the Web.com Tour Finals event and posted a four day total of 69-67-71-69. He entered the final day needing to finish within the top-17 to secure his spot on the PGA Tour.

Conners has been a strong performer on the Web.com Tour, and recently competed in the 2017 US Open. He left Kent State as one of the most successful student-athletes in program history. His career scoring average of 72.94 is fourth all time, while his five tournament wins ranks second.
The former Flash will join former teammate and friend Mackenzie Hughes on the tour. The two PGA professionals competed together for two seasons from the fall of 2010 through the spring of 2012.
