
Golden Flashes Continue Season at Fighting Irish Intercollegiate

Kent, Ohio – The Kent State Herb Page Men's Golf team continues their fall season at the Fighting Irish Intercollegiate in Notre Dame, Indiana on Sunday, Oct. 4.
The Fighting Irish Intercollegiate is hosted by the University of Notre Dame at Warren Golf Course for a two-day weekend tournament. The event includes 14 teams from all over the country, including schools from the Midwest, Southeast, and Pacific West.

Notes:
- Kent State finished in 14th out of 15 teams in last week's competition in Minnesota. The Golden Flashes will attempt to break into the top-10 in a tournament for the first time this season at Notre Dame.
- The Golden Flashes placed in 14th out of 16 teams in last year's Fighting Irish Classic, defeating Santa Clara and Louisiana Tech via a solid +9 second round.
- Nolan Haynes finished tied for 29th in last year's Notre Dame event to lead the team. Haynes shot par in the second round of the tournament.
- Haynes also led Kent State in the most recent event this year in Minnesota, finishing with a +9 and tied for 40thplace individually. Alec Yap and Christoffer Leuenhagen also both placed within the top-50 of the 2nd Swing Gopher Invitational.
