
Cross Country Wraps Up All-Ohio Championships

CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Kent State University cross country teams have finished competition at the All-Ohio Championships, held at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.
Competing against the best runners in Ohio, Kent State's women's team finished eighth among NCAA Division I teams and 12th among a total field of 40 teams. Kent State's men's team placed fourth among Division I teams and sixth out of 38 teams.
In the women's 6K, Maddie Dunlap continued to lead the Golden Flashes with a time of 22:12.3, shaving 12 seconds off her first 6K time this season. She placed 13th overall. Olivia Davis placed 35th (22:57.6), Nicole Fleming finished 36th (22:59.6), Jaimie Adams placed 52nd (23:21.6), while Sarah Pack and Morgan Arena finished back-to-back in 56th and 57th place (23:26.7 and 23:27.8).
In the men's 8K, Clark Bookman headlined the Flashes' results with a ninth place finish. He clocked in at 25:21.1, shaving over 30 seconds off his time from the previous meet. Grzegorz Kunc placed 18th (25:42.6), Sam Goodman finished 19th (25:44.1), Brandon Avers placed 24th (26:00.7) and Josh Gogan placed 32nd (26:22.6).
