Former Kent State long snapper Kain Anzovino (Fort Erie, Ontario) was selected by the Toronto Argonauts in the eighth round of the Canadian Football League Draft Thursday night.
Anzovino served as the Golden Flashes' starting long snapper on kicks and punts in 2015 and 2016.
Several former Flashes have found success in the CFL, including Rico Murray, who helped the Argonauts to a Grey Cup title last season. Now a member of the Ottawa Redblacks, Murray will begin his sixth season in the CFL.
Kent State All-American Jim Corrigall was inducted into the CFL Hall of Fame in 1990.
