Four Flashes Visit TrackTown USA for NCAA Outdoor Championships

The Kent State track and field program will be represented by four student-athletes at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Historic Hayward Field will serve as the host venue for this weekend's championships, which begin on June 6 and conclude June 9.
Senior Gabrielle Figueroa will compete in the women's hammer throw, redshirt sophomore TJ Lawson will compete in the men's decathlon, redshirt senior Riak Reese will run in the men's 100-meter dash and junior Craig Stevens, Jr. will compete in the triple jump. All but Reese qualified for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in March with Lawson and Stevens, Jr. aiming to finish in the top-10 at the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the second year in a row.
FOLLOW THE ACTION
ESPN will provide full coverage throughout all four days of the NCAA Outdoor Championships. The first two days will be broadcast live on ESPN2, beginning at 4:30 p.m. PT on Wednesday and 4 p.m. on Thursday. The two championship days will be aired live on ESPN, starting at 5 p.m. on Friday and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
