
Flashes Fall to Northwestern on the Road

EVANSTON, Ill.- The Kent State University field hockey team fell 5-0 to No. 10 Northwestern at Lakeside field on Sunday Afternoon.
Freshman Sydney Washburn led the offensive efforts for Kent State with a shot on goal, while junior Clara Rodriguez Seto recorded a defensive save.
The Wildcats led in shots (18-1), shots on goal (12-1), and penalty corners (5-0). Senior goalkeeper Mary Crumlish registered five saves while junior goalkeeper Azure Fernsler recorded a save for the Flashes.
Kent State returns to action on Friday, Oct. 25 as the Flashes travel to Appalachian State. The game is set to begin at 6 p.m.
