
Flashes Fall to Ohio State at Home

KENT, Ohio- The Kent State University field hockey (10-7, 5-0) team dropped a 4-0 decision to Ohio State on Sunday afternoon at Murphy-Mellis Field.
Junior Clara Rodriguez Seto led the offensive efforts for Kent State with three shots, two of which were on target, followed by freshman Maria Cambra Soler who fired off two shots.
The Buckeyes led in shots (18-6), shots on goal (11-4), and penalty corners (8-3). Senior goalkeeper Mary Crumlish registered seven saves for the Flashes.
Kent State returns to action for its season finale on Saturday, Nov. 2 as the Flashes host Longwood at noon. Saturday's game will serve as senior day as Kent State will honor its seven seniors before the game.
