
Men’s Golf Releases 2019-20 Schedule

KENT, Ohio- The Kent State University men's golf team has released its full schedule for the 2018-19 season.
The Golden Flashes tee off the year on Sept. 8 at the Gopher Invitational in Independence, Minn. From there, the Flashes will face a tough road that features both new challenges and familiar golf courses as Kent State looks to repeat as MAC champions and return to the postseason.
The fall slate features the Maui Jim Invitational on Sept. 13 in Scottsdale, Ariz., followed by the Inverness Intercollegiate on Sept. 23-24 hosted by MAC opponent, Toledo.
From Oct. 7-8, Kent State will compete in the Fighting Irish Classic in Notre Dame, Ind., before concluding the fall season at the Royal Oaks Invitational on Oct. 21-22 in Dallas.
After a break, the spring season begins in Tallahassee, Fla. for the Seminole Intercollegiate Feb. 22-23. A week later, the Flashes will participate in the Colleton River Collegiate hosted by Michigan State on March 2-3. Kent State will make back-to-back trips to the low country starting with the General Hackler March 9 in Myrtle Beach. The following week, the Flashes will take part in the Hootie at Bulls Bay for the third-straight season March 22-24.
The spring regular season wraps up with two returning tournaments from last season: The Aggie Invitational in Bryan, Texas April 4-5, and the Robert Kepler Invitational in Columbus, Ohio April 25-26.
Kent State will defend the MAC Championship May 1-3 hosted by Miami (Ohio) at the Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Fort Wayne. The 2020 NCAA National Championship will take place May 29-June 3 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
