Flashes Boast 15 1A FAR Academic Excellence Award Recipients

KENT, Ohio — Fifteen recent Kent State Athletics graduates were recently named as recipients of the 1A FAR Academic Excellence Award.
The 1A FAR Academic Excellence Award was established by the 1A Faculty Athletics Representatives to recognize student-athlete academic achievement. Criteria for recognition are that a student-athlete must have graduated in the past academic year with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.80 or above and have participated in at least two years of NCAA intercollegiate athletics at a Football Bowl Subdivision institution.
