WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. – Rainy weather at the Purdue Fall Invitational cut the first day of action short, but the tournament will resume and conclude tomorrow.
The Flashes will enter the second day tied with Miami (OH) for sixth place, currently sitting ten strokes over par.
After the rain-shortened first day, Indiana leads the way as the only team under par with Purdue and Cincinnati not far behind.
Josh Gilkison had an excellent first day, leading the Flashes with a score one stroke under par, good enough for an eighth-place tie overall.
Cade Breitenstine and Luca Civello aren't far behind, each breaking even heading into the second day.
Teams will finish the second round on Tuesday morning and roll into round three with continuous play. Pairings will remain the same for all twelve teams involved.
