Emily Price Named Co-MAC Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND – Following her first victory of the fall earlier this week at the Illini Women's Invitational, Kent State senior Emily Price has been named the Mid-American Conference Women's Co-Golfer of the Week.
Price pulled away from the field on Tuesday to capture individual medalist honors by three strokes with a 10-under, 206 to tie for the third-lowest 54-hole total in program history. She shot under 70 in all three rounds, highlighted by a 68 in the second round. This is Price's second career win in just 10 events as a Golden Flash.
Kent State will conclude the fall portion of the season at the Jim West Challenge in San Marco, Texas from Oct.17-18. Both days will be streamed on ESPN+ and cover holes 9, 13, 14 & 18. Coverage on Sunday begins at 12 p.m. ET and end at the conclusion of the second round. The entire round on Monday will be covered beginning at 9:30 a.m. ET.
