
Flashes Head to Annapolis for Navy Classic

KENT, OHIO- The Golden Flashes are back on the road this weekend, heading to Annapolis to take part in Saturday's Navy Classic.
The Flashes will be competing alongside American, Bloomsburg, Bucknell, The Citadel, Cleveland State, Edinboro, Lock Haven, Michigan State, Navy, Ohio, Rutgers and VMI.
Kent State are regulars at Navy's Annual Classic, competing in the event every year it has been held since the 2012-13 season. The Flashes took home the title that season and have a second-place and third-place showing as well. In 2019, the Flashes finished 11th of 18 schools as Colin McCracken and Tim Rooney each posted second-place finishes to lead the squad.

The Flashes will take the holiday week off before heading west in the first week of December. Kent State will take part in the annual Cliff Keen Invitational in Las Vegas, Nevada. The two-day tournament starts on Friday, December 3rd.
