
Flashes and McGinty Take Sunshine Shootout

OLDSMAR, Fla.- Caley McGinty took first in the Sunshine Shootout, while Kent State won the dual between Michigan State with a 54-hole total of 882 (+18) at East Lake Woodlands Course.
All Flashes finished in the top-10 with McGinty leading the way. McGinty's posted a three-round total of 216 (E) after posting a third round score of 75 (+3).
Emily Price was not far behind as she finished tied for second with a 219 (+8). Price finished the day with a 76 (+4) score. Kory Nielsen shot the lowest final round for the Flashes with a 73 (+1) and finished in fourth place at 222 (+6).
Chloe Salort carded a 79 (+7) score in the third round and finished tied for sixth at 228 (+12). Valentina Albertazzi rounded out the lineup with a 229 (+13) score and tied for eighth place. Albertazzi shot an 80 (+8) in the final round.
Kent State returns to action later this week on Feb. 26-28 as the Flashes compete in the Florida State Match-up in Tallahassee, Fla.
