Gilkison Leads the Pack After Day One of Williams Cup

Wilmington, NC... After the opening round of the Williams Cup on Friday, Jordan Gilkison leads the way in a tie for first with Michigan State's Drew Hackett.
Gilkison carded a 70 in the opening round, sinking four birdies to rise to the top of the 60 player field.
Chris Vandette was the only other Golden Flash in the top-20 on Friday, and will enter the weekend just four strokes off the lead in a tie for 16th.
Cade Breitenstine and Ben MacLean won't be too far behind in terms of strokes, but will have work to do throughout the weekend to help the Flashes finish out the fall portion of their schedule strong.
The Flashes will be paired with Michigan State and UNCW on Saturday with a tee time of 9:30 ET. Live scoring throughout the event can be found on Golfstat.com.
