PALOS VERDES ESTATES, CA... The Kent State women's golf team will head west to warmer weather for the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge this week in what is shaping up to be the Flashes tallest task yet.
"We are looking forward to competing with an incredible field," Flashes head coach Casey VanDamme said. "Palos Verdes Golf Club has difficult green complexes and will be very tough if we get out of position. Having a good game plan and sticking to it will be key."
Kent State will have an opportunity to compete with some of the best this week, facing a field that contains four top-10 schools, ten in the top-25 and 12, including KSU, in the top 50.
The Flashes will be paired with the Cal, Arizona and Texas with a tee-time of 10:00 on Sunday.
