Flashes in 8th after weather-shortened Sunday at General Hackler Championship

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C... Freezing temperatures delayed the opening day of the General Hackler Championship but after one round the Kent State men's golf team stands alone in eighth place just three strokes out of sixth.
Early on, the Flashes have been led by Jordan Gilkison who through one full round is one of just 16 competitors in South Carolina under par.
With conditions improving on Monday, teams should be able to conclude round two and wrap up the championship with action set to resume at 12:40.
