Flashes Return to SC for Hootie Intercollegiate

AWENDAW SC... For the second time in as many weeks the Kent State men's golf team is headed to South Carolina, this time for the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate Championship.
"We're very excited to get this week started," Flashes head coach Jon Mills said. "We know this course very well and played here at our alumni match in February. The weather is looking good and the guys are ready."
Kent State will square off with more ranked opponents this week, tangling with #13 Auburn, #22 Ole Miss, #23 Purdue and five more schools ranked in the top-50.
The Flashes have had success here in the past, tying with Auburn for third place at last season's "Hootie."
Action in Awendaw begins Sunday morning with a tee time of 9 AM, and will conclude on Tuesday.
