Flashes wrap up Hootie in 14th

AWENDAW SC... After a tough final round, the Kent State men's golf team wrapped up the Hootie At Bulls Bay Intercollegiate Championship with a 14th place finish.
The tournament concluded in a dramatic, but anticlimactic finish with a four way tie for first between ETSU, NC State, Mizzou and South Carolina.
The Flashes were led by Jordan Gilkison who remained steady throughout the week, carding a 71, a 71 and a 73 to finish in a tie for 33rd.
Jared Wilson also finished out the invitational in style with a team best 71 on the final day to secure an individual finish tied for 54th.
Kent State will have the next week off before their season resumes in College Station for the Aggie Invitational on April 9th and 10th.
