Game and Kick Times Announced for Several 2022 Games

CLEVELAND- Kick-off times and television assignments have been released for several Kent State football games this fall, as announced by the Mid-American Conference and television partners.
Kent State will start the 2022 season on the west coast at Washington on Saturday, September 3rd. Kick-off will be a 10:30 p.m. ET/ 7:30 p.m. PT and will air on Fox Sports 1. The following weekend, the Flashes are in Norman, Oklahoma to take on the Sooners on Saturday, September 10th. Kick-off time is set for 7 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. CT and will air on ESPN +.
The home opener for Kent State will be Saturday, September 17th as the Flashes welcome in the Long Island University Sharks. Kick time from Dix Stadium is set for noon with a to be determined television platform. The non-con wraps up the following weekend with a trip to Athens, Georgia to take on the Georgia Bulldogs. This will also be a noon kick-off and will air on ESPN + and SEC Network +.
Mid-American Conference play starts the following Saturday. Kent State will welcome in Ohio University for the annual homecoming game on Saturday, October 1st. Kick-off is set for 3:30 with a to-be-determined television platform.
The remaining pre-MACtion games: Saturday, October 8th at Miami, October 15th at Toledo and the Wagon Wheel game at Dix Stadium on October 22nd are all to be determined kick times and television platforms. As is the regular season finale at Buffalo on Saturday, November 26th.
Three November MACtion games have the Golden Flashes playing in primetime. On Tuesday, November 1st, Ball State visits Dix Stadium. That game will kick off at either 7 or 7:30 p.m. and air either on ESPN 2 or ESPN U. Eight days later, the Anniversary Award is up for grabs as Kent State travels to Bowling Green on Wednesday, November 9th. Kick-off will be at 7 p.m. and will air on either ESPN 2, ESPN U or CBS Sports Network. The final home game of the season will be on Wednesday, November 16th when Kent State hosts Eastern Michigan. Kick off will be either at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. and air on either ESPN 2, ESPN U or CBS Sports Network.
All kick-off times and television platforms for the to-be-determined games will be announced 12 days prior to the game date. Season tickets for the 2022 season are on sale now!
