
Four Flashes Named to All-MAC Golf Teams

The Mid-American Conference announced it's All-MAC first and second teams on Friday and the Kent State men's golf team was well represented, making up three of the five spots on the first team, with representation on the second team as well.
MAC Golfer of the Year Chris Vandette and individual MAC Champion Josh Gilkison were joined on the All-MAC first team by Cade Breitenstine, who's steady play all season long helped the Flashes to a sixth straight conference crown.
In addition to thier All-MAC nods, both Gilkison and Vandette were named to the All-Tournament Team last week.
Reigning MAC Freshman of the Year Jordan Gilkison was named to the All-MAC second team, as Kent State represented almost half of the golfers honored across the conference.
Kent State will travel to the Norman Regional in Oklahoma where they will compete as the ten-seed from May 27-June 1.
