
Cross Country Heads to Live in Lou Classic

Kent State continues the cross country season Saturday, Oct. 1 with the 21st annual Live in Lou Classic hosted by the Louisville Sports Commission at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park.
The men's 8K Gold race is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. with the women's 5K Gold race to follow at 10:15 a.m.
Admission for the event will be $5. The meet will be streamed through FloTrack, which requires a subscription to view.
Previewing the Flashes
The Golden Flashes' men are ranked in the USTFCCA Men's Cross Country Great Lakes Regional Poll this season for the first time since 2014 and sit at No. 12 in the Week 3 poll, which was released on Monday. Joe Farley and Baidy Ba have posted top-10 performances in Kent State's first two races. Both ran sub-25:00 8K races the last time out at the Spartan Invitational, with Farley finishing fifth and Ba placing 10th.
Leah Lisle has led the way for the Flashes' women and finished 22nd at the Spartan Invitational.
Up Next for the Flashes
Kent State will finish the regular season when in travels to Bowling Green to run in the Falcon Invitational on Friday, Oct. 14.
