Flashes Cross Country Competes at EMU Fall Classic

DEXTER, Mich. — Members of the Kent State cross country program competed in 5K races at the EMU Fall Classic on Friday at Hudson Mills Metropark.
Junior Jonah Cuestas was the first Golden Flash to cross the finish line in the men's race and placed 12th in 16:20.8. Freshman Caleb Bost also had a top-25 performance with a time of 16:52.0 for 23rd place.
Junior Olivia Fenneken led way in the women's race and placed 72nd in 21:52.2. Redshirt freshman Story Jones recorded a time of 22:31.9 for 78th.
Kent State will compete at the 2023 Mid-American Conference Cross Country Championships at Mel Brodt Cross Country Course in Bowling Green, Ohio on Saturday, Oct. 28.
