
Six Flashes Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

KENT, Ohio - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its Academic All-District list on Tuesday and Kent State was well-represented, with six members of the women's soccer team earning recognition for their work both academically and athletically.
The 2023 Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Student-athletes needed to play in 90% of their team's games during the season while maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher in order to be considered for Academic All-District honors.
Kent State's CSC Academic All-District honorees are:
- Alisa Arthur, Junior, General Business, 3.927 GPA
- Callie Cunningham, Senior, Psychology, 3.569 GPA
- Giulia Giovinazzi, Senior, Exercise Science, 3.933 GPA
- Sarah Melén, Graduate Student, Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics, 3.992 GPA
- Luca Ralph, Senior, Fashion Merchandising, 3.860
- Dalaney Ranallo, Senior, Accounting, 3.906
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on December 20.
