
Six Score in Double-Figures, Flashes Cruise to Exhibition Victory

KENT, Ohio — The Kent State women's basketball team beat Muskingum, 106-35, in an exhibition contest at the M.A.C. Center on Sunday afternoon.
The Golden Flashes led by as many as 73 points in the wire-to-wire victory and had six players reach double-figures in the scoring column. Sophomore Jenna Batsch and freshman Janae Tyler led the way with 14 points each.
Kent State grabbed 26 offensive rebounds and had a 56-24 advantage on the glass overall. Graduate student Mikala Morris pulled down a game-high 11 boards.
The Flashes will travel to the Bayou next weekend open the regular season against Louisiana on Sunday, Nov. 12 as part of the inaugural MAC-Sun Belt Challenge. Kent State will then battle No. 1 LSU on Tuesday, Nov. 14.
