KENT, Ohio — Kent State has announced its promotional schedule for 2026-27 women's basketball season at the M.A.C. Center. A diverse array of themes and special celebrations will provide memorable experiences for fans of all ages.
Troy: I AM FIRST Night - Nov. 2
The Golden Flashes will join the University's week of I AM FIRST activities to recognize and celebrate first-generation students, faculty, staff, and alumni. A Kent State-branded clear fanny pack will be the giveaway to help fans adjust to the clear bag policy that was announced in July.
Duquesne: Team IMPACT Day - Nov. 14
Team IMPACT is an organization close to the hearts of Kent State Athletics. Fans are encouraged to participate in a post-game Teddy Bear Toss. All teddy bears will be donated to Caring for Kids. Free Chick-fil-a sandwiches will be available while supplies last.
Youngstown State: Black Out – Nov. 29
Fans are encouraged to wear black and can grab a free black Kent State t-shirt while supplies last.
Hiram: Education Day, presented by Ohio 529 - Dec. 9
Our annual Education Day will feature over 1,000 screaming students from local elementary schools. School registration is required. For more information, contact gadams9@kent.edu. Earplugs are encouraged!!!
Marshall: Hoops Before Finals - Dec. 12
Take a study break to support the Flashes. Cans of Alani Nu will be available while supplies last, and fans will also have a chance to win a self-care basket to help navigate finals week.
Central Michigan: Youth Day – Jan. 9
Kent State-branded dumpling squishies will be available for all Future Flashes while supplies last.
Ball State: We Back Pat / Purple Out- Jan. 13
Join the woman's basketball community in celebrating the legacy of Pat Summit and raise awareness for Alzheimer's disease in partnership with the Pat Summit Foundation. All fans are encouraged to wear purple to show their support.
Western Michigan: Welcome Back Student Bash, presented by Cleveland Hopkins Airport - Jan. 20
Free powder blue replica Kent State women's basketball jerseys will be available while supplies last.
Buffalo: Unity Day - Jan. 23
Cheer the Flashes and grab a free Unity Day t-shirt while supplies last.
Ohio: NGWSD, presented by Enterprise Mobility - Feb. 3
Join us for the annual celebration that inspires girls and women to play and be active, to realize their full power.
Toledo: Play4Kay, presented by Cleveland Clinic - Feb. 13
Join the women's basketball community to promote Breast Cancer Awareness in partnership with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. All fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support.
UMass: Love Island Night, presented by 7 17 Credit Union – Feb. 17
Love will be in the air at the M.A.C. Center. Fans can grab a free Kent State-branded water bottle while supplies last.
Akron: Throwback / Alumnae Day - Feb. 27
Join us in welcoming Flashes from the past back to the M.A.C. Center. Fans will receive a free gold t-shirt while supplies last.
Eastern Michigan: Senior Day - March 6
Join us in honoring our senior class for their contributions to the program.
