KENT, Ohio — Kent State softball head coach Jessica O'Donnell announced the team's 2024 schedule on Tuesday.
The 53-game regular season slate includes three trips to North Carolina, beginning on opening weekend at the Elon Phoenix Tournament from Feb. 8-10.
Following an idle weekend, the Golden Flashes will resume early-season tournament action with games hosted by UNCW (Feb. 23-25), Ole Miss (March 1-3) and Western Carolina (March 8-10). These weekends will feature games against Ole Miss, George Mason, North Carolina Central and UMBC squads that made NCAA Tournament appearances last season.

The first two Mid-American Conference series will be played on the road as Kent State visits Ball State on March 22-23 and Northern Illinois on March 29-30.
The Flashes' home opener at Devine Diamond will be a scheduled doubleheader against Ohio on April 2 with the series finale to be played on April 3.
Kent State's remaining home series will be against Western Michigan (April 12-13), Bowling Green (April 20-21), Central Michigan (April 30-May 1) and Akron (May 4-5).
