
Lacrosse takes on Presbyterian College and Lindenwood this week

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State lacrosse team continues a five game homestand matchup against Presbyterian College on Thursday, March 16 at 2 p.m. and Lindenwood on Sunday, March 19 at 1 p.m.
About the Flashes
The Golden Flashes (3-4) won 15-5 in the home opener last Wednesday against Delaware State. Allie Lee scored a career high of four goals and Jackie Wolford added three goals with two assists. On Friday, Kent State fell 12-9 against Saint Francis (Pa.). Kenzie Sklar secured four goals against the Red Flash.
Kent State leads the Mid-American Conference in save percentage (.503), ground balls per game (20.43), and draw controls (87). Goalkeeper Madison Flannigan had a .593 save percentage between the two matchups. She is ranked second in the MAC for save percentage (.514) and first in ground balls (20). Kenzie Sklar currently leads the Golden Flashes and is No. 1 in the MAC for goals (24) and points (28). Jackie Wolford is third in the conference with 17 goals and 23 points. Morgan Kubicki is ranked No. 1 with 13 assists and fourth 21 points.
About the Blue Hose
Presbyterian College (2-3) traveled to Ohio for a matchup against Akron on Tuesday and won 10-9. The Blue Hose also defeated Delaware State by one goal, 11-10, on February 22. The team will begin Big South Conference play in two weeks at Wofford University.
Abby Edmisten leads in goals (9), assists (5), and points (14) for Presbyterian College.
About the Lions
Lindenwood (3-4) beat Fairleigh Dickinson 15-7 and lost to Butler 13-8 last week. The Lions will travel to Detroit Mercy on Friday before coming to Kent on Sunday.
Logann Eldredge has 22 goals and six assists for the season. She was named ASUN Player of the Week on February 21.
Series History
In the only two matchups against the Blue Hose, the Golden Flashes won 21-12 in 2021 and 15-12 last year in South Carolina.
The Golden Flashes met the Lindenwood Lions for the first time in program history on Sunday.
