
Track & Field Heads to Cincinnati

The Kent State track and field program continues the outdoor season, traveling to Cincinnati for the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational.
Friday's action includes the javelin throw and hammer throw at Coy Field. Competition begins with the men's javelin at 10:30 a.m. and concludes with the women's hammer around 4 p.m.
The remaining events will be held at Gettler Stadium on Saturday. Field events begin at 10 a.m. and running events will get started at 12:20 p.m.

Kent State has 56 student-athletes entered for competition.
On the men's side, four student-athletes — Del'Mario Hairston (long jump), Nolan Landis (discus throw), Alexandre Malanda (triple jump) and Jonathan Solomon (400m) — are slated for competition in events they earned All-MAC honors during the 2022 outdoor season.
Angelina Lotarski leads the women in action. Lotarski ranks third in the Mid-American Conference in the pole vault after clearing 11' 1.75" at the Raleigh Relays last weekend.

The Golden Flashes will return to action at the Duke Invitational on April 6-8.
