Women's Golf Back in Action at Trinity Forest Invitational

Dallas, Tex... After finishing the first two tournaments of their spring season in 10th and 11th, the Kent State women's golf team will be in search of a strong performance in the lone star stateΒ this week at this year's Trinity Forest Invitational.
"We look forward to competing after a good week of practice," KSU head coach Casey VanDamme said. "Trinity Forest is unlike any course we've ever seen. Navigating the massive green complexes will be key and what we're doing our best to prepare for."
Following her performance at The Show in Las Vegas, Freshman Leon Takagi was named MAC Women's Golfer of the Week, and will ride that momentum into this weeks event in Texas.
Last time out, the top four in the Flashes lineup were separated by just three strokes, led by Takagi and Noromal Nuchsila.
Monday's action is set to start with an 8 AM Central tee time, and Kent State will be paired with SMU, Houston and Tulsa to kick off the opening round.
