
Kent State Drops Three-Setter at WMU

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kent State volleyball team was defeated by host Western Michigan, 3-0 (14-25, 18-25, 13-25), on Friday.
Senior Anna Shoemake and redshirt sophomore Alexandria Connatser totaled three blocks each and junior Greta Bolognini tallied 10 digs to lead the defense. Shoemake was also a top performer on offense with a team-high six kills and .462 hitting percentage. Junior Kendall White had 14 assists and added six digs.
The Golden Flashes (1-15, 0-6 MAC) will return home for a pair of Mid-American Conference matchups next weekend, as Miami visits the M.A.C. Center on Oct. 18 and Ball State on Oct. 19.
