KENT, Ohio - The Kent State men's golf team is set to host the Golden Flash individual on Monday at the Country Club of Hudson. The one-day 36-hole event features individual golfers from nine nearby schools.

Notes:
- Monday marks the second time this season that Kent State has hosted an event after September's Canadian Collegiate, where the Flashes served as a co-host alongside Penn State.
- Ramiro Acevedo is set to make the fourth appearance of his freshman season at the Golden Flash Individual. He opened his season by winning the Minnesota Golf Classic competing as an individual. Acevedo has also appeared at the Canadian Collegiate and Virtues Intercollegiate, where he tied for 13th place.
- Daniel Heister will make his first appearance of the season on Monday. The sophomore made three appearances in the Kent State lineup last season, tallying two tied 62nd finishes and two 12-over-par 54-hole scores.
- Connor Malicki is set to make his first collegiate appearance for the Flashes. The sophomore did not appear for Kent State as a freshman during the 2023-2024 season.
- Darcy Hogg is set to make his second collegiate appearance for the Flashes. The freshman made his debut at last weekend's Virtues Intercollegiate, where he recorded rounds of 75 and 82.
