Kent State Women’s Basketball Announces 2024-25 Promotional Schedule

KENT, Ohio — The Kent State women's basketball team has announced its promotional schedule for an action-packed 2024-25 season at the M.A.C. Center. A diverse array of themes and special celebrations will provide memorable experiences for fans of all ages.
James Madison: Home Opener - White Out (Nov. 4)
Tip off the season at the M.A.C. Center with a White Out! Fans will receive a white replica jersey to match the Golden Flashes on the court.
Walsh: Outer Banks Night - Greek Night (Nov. 7)
Fans will receive a Kent State Surfboard Keychain as we turn the M.A.C. Center into the Outer Banks, the hit Netflix show that stars the son of head coach Todd Starkey. The campus Greek organization with the highest attendance will receive a prize.
Duquesne: Class Clash – MAC Trophy Photo-Op (Nov. 20)
Show that your class has the most school spirit! Students will receive a rally towel specific to their class. After the game, fans will have an opportunity to take photos with the 2024 Mid-American Conference Tournament trophy.
Xavier: Team IMPACT Day (Nov. 23)
Team IMPACT is an organization close to the hearts of Kent State Athletics. Fans are encouraged to participate in a halftime Teddy Bear Toss. All teddy bears will be donated to local Portage County charities.
Virginia U of Lynchburg: Education Day (Dec. 16)
Our annual local school Field Trip Day will feature over 1,000 screaming students from local elementary schools. School registration is required. For more information, contact gadams9@kent.edu. Earplugs are encouraged!!!
John Carroll: Bring Your "A" Game (Dec. 29)
Flashes fans always bring their "A" Game and will receive a pencil pouch giveaway.
Bowling Green: Ring in 2025 (Jan. 1)
Ring in the new year with the start of #MACtion and a free winter scarf.
Buffalo: Military Appreciation Day (Jan. 5)
Join us at the M.A.C. Center to help honor our troops. Fans will receive a Kent State camo hat.
Ball State: Black Out (Jan. 15)
Fans will receive a black Kent State t-shirt to as we "Black Out" the M.A.C. Center with the return of students to campus.
Western Michigan: We Back Pat (Jan. 18)
Join the woman's basketball community in celebrating the legacy of Pat Summit and raise awareness for Alzheimer's disease in partnership with the Pat Summit Foundation. All fans are encouraged to wear purple to show their support.
Eastern Michigan: Unity Day (Jan. 29)
All Golden Flashes are invited to come together as one and celebrate unity. Help cheer the Golden Flashes on to victory and demonstrate how #FlashesTakeCareOfFlashes. Fans will receive a free t-shirt.
Akron: 50 Years of Women's Basketball - Gold Out (Feb. 1)
In the 50-year history of the women's basketball program at the varsity level, Kent State has not beaten a single opponent more often than the rival Zips. Fans will receive a free gold t-shirt to help celebrate the rich tradition of the program.
Miami: Play4Kay - Barbie & Kent (Feb. 15)
Join the woman's basketball community to promote Breast Cancer Awareness in partnership with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. All fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support, and there will be a crossbody giveaway.
Northern Illinois: NGWSD - flaSHEs WILL (Feb. 26)
Join us in honoring the progress and continuing struggle for equality for women in sports.
Toledo: Senior Day (March 8)
Join us in honoring our senior class for their contributions to our program. Fans will receive a KSU Tumbler.
