Notes:
- Sunday will mark the fifth time the Flashes have competed in the Fighting Irish Classic. Kent State finished seventh in last season's edition of the event.
- Jordan Gilkison once again headlines the Flashes' lineup. The senior finished in fourth place at last week's Blessings Collegiate. He was one of just four men's golfers to finish the event with a 54-hole score under par. Gilkison leads the team in scoring average this season at 71.56.
- After impressing in his first appearance in the Flashes' lineup at the Blessings Collegiate, freshman Nolan Haynes remains in the Kent State lineup. He recorded a top-20 finish at the Blessings, highlighted by a first-round even-par 72.
- Isaiah Ibit and Bryce Reed have been consistent presences in the Kent State lineup, with each set to make their fourth appearance at the Fighting Irish Classic. Ibit has had a strong start to his freshman season, including a runner-up finish at the Canadian Collegiate two weeks ago where he flirted with program scoring records. Reed's strongest appearance of the season was also at the Canadian Collegiate, where a third-round 66 propelled him to a fourth-place finish.
- Edvin Backstrom is set to make his first appearance this season in the Flashes' lineup on Sunday. The senior competed as an individual at last weekend's Virtues Intercollegiate, where he tied for seventh place through rounds of 73 and 69 in the 36-hole shortened event.
