
Women’s Basketball Home Finale Flexed to ESPNU

CLEVELAND — Kent State's final home game of the season will be played in front of a national television audience, as the Mid-American Conference announced the women's basketball matchup against Ball State on Wednesday, March 6 has been selected for the 5 p.m. time slot on ESPNU.
The game will play a big role in determining the conference's regular season champion. The Golden Flashes (15-7, 10-2 MAC) are currently one game behind the Cardinals (22-3, 11-1 MAC) and Toledo (19-4, 11-1 MAC) in the standings with six games remaining.
It will be Fan Appreciation Night and Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night at the M.A.C. Center. Fans can win great prizes and exclusive giveaways for contributing to an awesome atmosphere and home-court advantage all season,. Additionally, all Kent State University faculty and staff will receive free admission for themselves and one guest by presenting their FLASHcard.
This is Kent State's second game this season selected for national TV. The Flashes defeated Northern Illinois, 73-48, on Jan. 14 on CBS Sports Network.
