
Flashes Head to Arkansas and SPIRE for Indoor T&F Competition

The Kent State track and field program will have student-athletes in action this at both the Tyson Invitational, hosted by the University of Arkansas, and the SPIRE Collegiate Indoor Games in at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
TYSON INVITATIONAL (FEB. 9-10)
Three Golden Flashes who hold top-50 national rankings in their respective events are entered for competition. Alexandre Malanda leads the way with a mark of 51'-8.25" that ranks 19 in the men's triple jump. Liam Vinskovich sits at No. 35 on the men's high jump national performance list at 7'-0.5", while Sean Callahan Jr. is 41st in the men's 60-meter dash with a time of 6.67 seconds.
SPIRE INDOOR GAMES (FEB. 10)
A pair of women's throwers who lead the Mid-American Conference headline Kent State's entries at the single-day meet. Gabby Bailey has a season-best shot put mark of 50'-8.75", while Grace Luther recorded a personal-best 63'-9" in the weight throw last weekend.
NEXT UP FOR KENT STATE
The Golden Flashes will head to Akron Invitational on Friday, Feb. 16 for the final regular season indoor meet.
