Vandette Notches Another MAC Golfer of The Week Honor

Chris Vandette was named MAC golfer of the week for the second time in 2024, notching the honor for both of his last two performances.
Fresh off an individual title at the Dorado Beach Collegiate, Vandette tied for 12th among the 81 golfer field at the General Jim Hackler Championship.
The Quebec native was one of seven golfers to shoot a score of below 70 on the final day of the tournament, posting a score of 69 to finish at even par.
The former MAC golfer of the year in 2021-2022 sank three birdies and had zero bogeys through his final 18 holes. It is his second consecutive top 15 finish for the Golden Flashes.
Vandette will be back in action tomorrow in the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of South Carolina.
