
Women's Golf Ready to Compete in The Bruzzy

The Kent State women's golf team returns to action tomorrow playing in 'The Bruzzy' in Ardmore, Oklahoma, hosted by the University of North Texas.Â
The 54 hole, 14 team event stretches two days, with shotgun starts beginning at 9:30 a.m. EST. The first 36 holes will occur tomorrow, with the final 18 being played on Sunday.
The Flashes lineup will begin action from holes six through ten tomorrow morning. This is the first year Kent State is competing in The Bruzzy. Last year, the host North Texas won the event.

Kent State tied for 4th place out of 13 teams at the Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder City, Nevada. The Flashes placed three finishers inside the top 20 and four golfers in the top 30. Leon Takagi continued her strong play, tying for 10th among the 76 golfer field to lead KSU.
