KENT- The Golden Flashes wrap up the mid-week portion of the schedule, heading to Ann Arbor to tangle with the Michigan Wolverines.
The Flashes are coming off a big series win over first place Bowling Green, winning two-of-three including a 12-2 run-rule victory on Sunday. Brody Williams has been swinging a hot bat and had five hits over the weekend. Since re-entering the starting lineup on April 7th, Williams is hitting .333 with 16 rbi in 14 games.
Michigan sits at 23-21 on the season and swept Long Beach State last weekend at home. Former Golden Flash Mack Timbrook leads the team with a .345 average and eight stolen bases. Stephen Hrustich and Mitch Voit provide the power with both players over 30 RBI on the season.
Tuesday's game will start at 4 p.m. as the Flashes go for a second victory against a Big-10 opponent, having taken down Penn State earlier this season. The game will air on Big-10 Network +, a subscription-based service through the conference. Live stats will be available as well. Kent State heads back home this weekend to take on Miami for a big three-game series. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. on Friday.
