
Three Flashes Earn All-MAC Honors

CLEVELAND – Three members of the Kent State men's golf team have earned All-Mid-American Conference Team honors, the league office announced Friday.
Chris Vandette and Jordan Gilkison earned All-MAC First Team nods while Bryce Reed eared an All-MAC Second Team nod.
Vandette has earned All-MAC honors for four straight seasons with this year marking his third First Team appearance. Gilkison has now been selected for All-MAC teams all three years at Kent State, earning First Team honors each of the past two seasons. This marks Reed's first All-MAC selection.
Kent State tied with Ball State for the most All-MAC honorees this year and was the only school in the conference with two First Team selections.
The Golden Flashes placed third at the MAC Championship last weekend to wrap up the 2023-24 campaign. Reed finished second individually at -8 while Gilkison placed seventh at -3 for the tournament.
