
Kent State Volleyball Announces Non-Conference Slate

KENT, Ohio โ The Kent State volleyball team will play 10 matches during the non-conference portion of the 2024 schedule, head coach Haley Eckerman announced on Friday.
The Golden Flashes will begin the season in Ann Arbor for the Michigan Nike Classic. Delaware and Michigan are the scheduled opening day opponents on Aug. 31, with a second contest against the host Wolverines on Sept. 1.
Kent State will then travel to the East Coast for three matches over three days as part of the Seton Hall Classic. The Flashes will play NJIT on Sept. 6, Sacred Heart on Sept. 7 and Seton Hall on Sept. 8.
The final four non-conference matchups will be played in the state of Ohio, beginning at Xavier on Sept. 13 and at Cincinnati on Sept. 14. Kent State will then host Cleveland State for the home opener at the M.A.C. Center on Sept. 19. A trip to Youngstown State on Sept. 20 will serve as the final tuneup for Mid-American Conference play.
The conference schedule, which was announced in March, starts with home matches against Eastern Michigan on Sept. 26 and Sept. 27. Following the 18-match league schedule, the top six teams in the standings will compete in the 2024 MAC Tournament, which will be hosted by the highest seeded team. Dates of the championship will be announced at a later date.
Season tickets for new accounts will be available for purchase on KSUTix.com beginning on Monday, July 1.
