Kedronova Named MAC Women’s Co-Golfer of the Week

KENT, Ohio – It was announced on Friday that Kent State's Veronika Kedronova has won the MAC women's golfer of the week award, alongside Eastern Michigan's Savannah de Bock. Kedronova won the individual title at this week's Red Raider Invitational after firing a score of 7-under-par.Â
This marks the fourth time the sophomore has received the award after being recognized three times throughout her freshman season. Kedronova has been a leading presence for the Flashes this season after being recognized as the MAC Freshman of the Year last Spring. She helped Kent State to a fourth-place finish out of 16 teams at the Red Raider Invitational while claiming the individual title over 87 golfers. Kedronova recorded three consecutive rounds of 70 or better (70-69-70) en route to the individual victory.
Kedronova and the Flashes return to action on Monday, September 30, at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational. The Kent State men's and women's teams will compete together at the three-day event, which will be broadcast live on the Golf Channel.
