Kedronova Named MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Mid-American Conference revealed on Wednesday that Veronika Kedronova of the Kent State Dr. Paula Treckel women's golf team has been named the MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week.
Kedronova was named MAC Golfer of the Week after recording the fourth individual win of her collegiate career with a first-place finish at the Canadian Collegiate. Kedronova shot 8-under (136) to win by 2 strokes in the rain-shortened event, which featured 8 power conference schools and 6 teams ranked in NBC Sports' preseason top 40 rankings. She matched the lowest round of her career as a Golden Flash with a 66 in round one before carding a 70 in round two.
