Golden Flashes Led by Takagi, Kedronova in Top 10 After Two Rounds at Spartan Suncoast Invitational

SARASOTA, Fla. – The Kent State Dr. Paula Treckel women's golf team completed two rounds at the Spartan Suncoast Collegiate Invitational on Monday at Palm Aire Country Club, sitting 10th in the 15-team field at 39-over.
The Golden Flashes opened the tournament with a 12-over 300 in Round 1 before posting a 27-over 315 in Round 2 to move to 615 (+39) through 36 holes.
Leon Takagi and Veronika Kedronová continue to lead Kent State on the individual leaderboard, both tied for eighth at 4-over-par (148). The duo sits four shots off the lead entering Tuesday's final round.
Kent State will conclude play at the Spartan Suncoast Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday with an 8:15 a.m. shotgun start.
