KENT, Ohio – Scoreboard, powered by Clippd, revealed its first NCAA Division I golf rankings of the Fall on Wednesday, with the Kent State Dr. Paula Treckel women's golf team checking in at No. 18. It marks the program's highest selection in the data-driven ranking since it was introduced by Scoreboard in the Fall of 2023.
The Golden Flashes earn the top 20 spot after an impressive start to the season. Kent State has finished in the top three of all four events the team has participated in this Fall, highlighted by a team victory at the Wolverine Invitational in September. Kent State also has five individuals placed inside the top 200 of the initial player rankings of the Fall:
28. Veronika Kedronova
52. Leon Takagi
158. Aryn Matthews
161. Isabella Goyette
200. Gracie Larsen
The Flashes will conclude the Fall season at the prestigious Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, North Carolina, set to begin on Friday, October 24.
