Kent State Announces 2025-26 Women’s Basketball Promotional Schedule

KENT, Ohio — The Kent State women's basketball team has announced its promotional schedule for an action-packed 2025-26 season at the M.A.C. Center. A diverse array of themes and special celebrations will provide memorable experiences for fans of all ages.
Walsh: Home Opener - Nov. 10
The first 500 fans will receive a rally towel inspired by the M.A.C. Center's new court design as the Golden Flashes play the first scheduled doubleheader of the season.
Niagara: Team IMPACT Day - Nov. 16
Team IMPACT is an organization close to the hearts of Kent State Athletics. Fans are encouraged to participate in a post-game Teddy Bear Toss. All teddy bears will be donated to Caring for Kids. The first 250 fans will receive a Flash bobblehead.
Davis & Elkins: Education Day, presented by Ohio 529 - Dec. 15
Our annual Education Day will feature over 1,000 screaming students from local elementary schools. School registration is required. For more information, contact gadams9@kent.edu. Earplugs are encouraged!!!
Miami: Noon Year's Eve – Dec. 31
Get ready to watch the ball drop by watching the Golden Flashes put the ball through the hoop. Fans will leave with New Year's Eve decorations to help celebrate the night.
UMass: Military Appreciation Day - Jan. 3
Join us at the M.A.C. Center to help honor our troops. The first 250 fans will receive a camo #MACtion t-shirt.
Ohio: Welcome Back Student Bash - Jan. 14
Free Chick-fil-A will be provided while supplies last to celebrate the return of students for the first week of classes.
Akron: Gold Out, presented by University Edge - Jan. 17
Cheer the Flashes to another rivalry victory. Fans will receive a free gold KSU t-shirt while supplies last.
Ball State: We Back Pat - Jan. 31
Join the woman's basketball community in celebrating the legacy of Pat Summit and raise awareness for Alzheimer's disease in partnership with the Pat Summit Foundation. All fans are encouraged to wear purple to show their support. Fans will receive a Flash Bobbi-Dobbie while supplies last.
Bowling Green: Black Out – Feb. 4, presented by Ron Marhofer
The first 500 fans will receive a black "Fearless Flash" t-shirt.
SBC Challenge: NGWSD/FlaSHEs Will, presented by Enterprise Mobility - Feb. 7
Join us for the annual celebration that inspires girls and women to play and be active, to realize their full power.
Northern Illinois: Play4Kay, presented by Cleveland Clinic - Feb. 18
Join the women's basketball community to promote Breast Cancer Awareness in partnership with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. All fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support, and the first 500 fans will receive a free KSU pink replica jersey.
Central Michigan: Alumnae Day - Feb. 28
Join us in welcoming Flashes from the past back to the M.A.C. Center. The 2025 Varsity K Hall of Fame class will be recognized during halftime.
Western Michigan: Senior Day - March 7
Join us in honoring our senior class for their contributions to the program. The first 250 fans will receive a "Fearless Flash" flag.
