Kent State Lacrosse Announces 2026 Schedule

Kent, Ohio– The Kent State Lacrosse Team Announced their schedule for the upcoming spring 2026 season on Friday. The slate includes eight games on the road and nine at home at Dix Stadium.
The Golden Flashes open up 2026 on the road in Missouri when they travel to Lindenwood University on Feb. 6, while traveling back home to take on Mercyhurst on Valentine's Day.
On Feb. 18, the Blue and Gold will travel to Kentucky to take on their first power-four opponent of the season in Louisville. After that, they return to Kent for three tests against Butler, Xavier, and Cincinnati on Feb. 21, 24 and March 6 respectively.
On March 9, KSU will fly across the country to the Pacific Northwest for a spring break trip to the University of Oregon. Mid-American Conference play opens up later that week as they head to Eastern Michigan on March 14 before returning home on March 18 to take on rival Akron. Two days later, the Flashes host the Aztecs of San Diego State at Dix Stadium.
On March 28, the Blue and Gold take the short trip east to take on Youngstown State, before matching-up with Robert Morris and Florida State at home on April 4 and April 7 respectively. The Seminoles will be competing in their first season at the Division I level.
Another conference game will be on the menu on April 12 when Kent State goes to Detroit Mercy, and will continue that road trip on the 15th to take on Ohio State. The final home game for the Golden Flashes will take place on April 18 against Central Michigan before wrapping up the regular season on the road to take on UMass, who plays their first season as a member of the MAC.
