
Field Hockey Lands Conference High 13 on Academic All-MAC Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2025 Field Hockey Academic All-MAC Team on Thursday afternoon, with 13 Golden Flashes earning a spot on the team.
To qualify for the Academic All-MAC Team, student-athletes must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA and participate in at least 50 percent of contests throughout the season. First-year students are not eligible for the award.
A total of 105 field hockey student-athletes across the MAC were recognized on the Academic All-MAC Team. Kent State had the joint-most in the conference, matching UMass with 13 selections. Just behind the Flashes and Minutewomen are App State, Bellarmine, and Central Michigan, who each earned 11 Academic All-MAC selections. Kent State's 2025 total improves on the team's 12 selections to the 2024 Academic All-MAC Team at the conclusion of last season.
