Gilkison Completes Hat Trick of MAC Golfer of the Week Awards

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference revealed on Thursday that Kent State's Jordan Gilkison has been named MAC Men's Golfer of the Week.
It marks the third time Gilkison has received the honor in what has been a stellar senior season, consisting of two wins and six top-ten finishes.
Gilkison earned his second win of the season and his career this past weekend at the Buckeye Classic in Columbus. He finished the event at a season-best 11-under-par after posting three consecutive rounds of par or better. Gilkison improves his team-leading season tallies of rounds of par or better to 19, rounds in the 60s to 12, and a 70.89 scoring average.
Gilkison and the Flashes return to Columbus this weekend for their final tournament before the MAC Championship, taking part in the Robert Kepler Invitational at OSU Golf Club beginning on Friday, April 18.
