Gilkison Wins Fourth MAC Golfer of the Week Ahead of MAC Championship

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced on Thursday that Kent State's Jordan Gilkison has been named the Co-MAC Men's Golfer of the Week. It marks the fourth time the senior has earned the award this season.
Gilkison earned his fourth top-five finish of the season at the Robert Kepler Invitational last weekend, tying for fifth place in the event. The senior shot even-par rounds of 71 in rounds one and three to improve his season tally of rounds of par or better to a team-high 21.
Gilkison will look to take his good form into the MAC Championship, which begins on Sunday, April 27 at Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City, Ohio. The Flashes are seeking their first MAC Championship title since 22; the team has won 28 MAC Championship titles in program history.
