Kedronova and Takagi Earn Academic All-MAC Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced on Monday that Kent State sophomore Veronika Kedronova and junior Leon Takagi have been named to the 2025 Women's Golf Academic All-MAC Team.
The Academic All-MAC Team recognizes student-athletes who excel in both athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First-year students and transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
The only two Golden Flashes eligible for the honor this season, Kedronova and Takagi helped lead the team to the program's 26th consecutive MAC Championship in April.
